The Student Filmmakers’ Lecture and workshop.

The aim of the Robin Anderson Film Awards is to create an initiative that promotes and encourages young student filmmakers by offering them industry-based advice and assistance. Due to the generosity of Robin’s filmmaker colleagues there will be educational kits distributed to registered students and workshops held at the Valhalla on Friday the 21st of May. This workshop aims at developing skills and knowledge of cineliteracy and the grammar of filmmaking. In June a hands-on workshop will be offered at the MLC School. These workshops will provide opportunities in developing skills and understanding of documentary/drama filmmaking, scriptwriting, and editing. An opportunity to seek advice on student’s own work will be provided during the weekend workshop at the MLC school.
